A ticketed festive preview evening launching the Winter Makers Market with live jazz, candle making demonstrations and after-hours gallery access.
This preview evening launches the museum's Winter Makers Market before it opens to the public. Visitors can browse stalls of gifts, homeware and crafts in the Edwardian Engine Hall, watch candle making demonstrations by Recycled Wax (with a Q&A and a candle amnesty), and explore the galleries after hours. Live music comes from resident jazz band Quinta, and festive treats including Christmas dinner sandwiches and mulled wine are available in Gather café. Recommended for adults, with under-16s accompanied.
