Haunted Book Club Live: Festive Ghost Story - The North Mail
About
A live festive ghost story evening with a performed reading of Amelia Edwards' The North Mail and discussion, hosted by Gav Cross and John Reppion.
Haunted Book Club returns to the Portico Library's Gothic Dome for a festive ghost story event centred on Amelia Edwards' The North Mail, a chilling tale set on a bleak Northern moor in December. Storyteller Gav Cross performs a classic ghost story chosen by the audience from an offered menu on the night, while author John Reppion provides expert insight into the story, its author and its creepy themes. The evening then opens into a community-style discussion over tea, coffee, cake or port, welcoming both seasoned ghost story fans and newcomers with no preparation required.
