It covers manual handling injuries and their causes, the Manual Handling Operations Regulations, the MAC assessment tool and practical elements including lifting, carrying, pushing and pulling. Delegates are prepared to examine their own work activities and contribute to safer methods and tasks, and the course can be tailored to client-specific issues. It ends with a multiple choice assessment and is certificated by Ouch Learning and Development, with the award valid for three years.
