About
A day retreat at Manjushri KMC marking NKT Day with mantra recitation sessions and an evening Wishfulfilling Jewel with Tsog puja.
The first Saturday in April commemorates the founding of NKT-IKBU by Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche in 1991, marked at Kadampa centres worldwide with pujas and dedications. At Manjushri KMC the day takes the form of a special day retreat reciting Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso's name mantra across three daytime sessions. The retreat concludes in the evening with a Wishfulfilling Jewel with Tsog puja. The timetable runs from 9am to 8.15pm, with the teacher listed as Gen-la Kelsang Jampa.
