Lama Choepa (Guru Puja) and Tsog
About
A Lama Choepa (Guru Puja) and tsog offering ceremony, open to all Buddhists, held in person and online at Jamyang Buddhist Centre Leeds.
This session is a Lama Choepa (Guru Puja) with tsog, a Buddhist ceremony in which practitioners invoke the lamas of the graduated path lineage, pay homage, make offerings and request blessings. The page describes it as a complete practice containing the important points of sutra and tantra in Lama Tsongkhapa's tradition. Sessions run 60–90 minutes with start times varying across the year, and this one runs 10:00–11:30. It is open to all Buddhists with no empowerments needed, and attendees are asked to bring flowers, incense and vegetarian food and drink as altar offerings.
