Dinner Candle Holder

A 2.5-hour hand-building pottery taster class at SkandiHus's Clapton studio where participants make a dinner candle holder from clay.

This early-evening taster class introduces the basics of working with clay through hand-building techniques such as slab building and coiling. Participants make a dinner candle holder, with a short introduction to the studio and materials before getting started. At the end of the session each person chooses their favourite piece to be glazed and fired, ready to collect within eight weeks. The class is aimed at beginners and all materials and firings are included in the price.
