A five-week Thursday morning pottery course for makers with some basic hand-building and wheel-throwing skills, taught by ceramic artist Linda Barck at SkandiHus in Clapton.

This five-week block covers hand-building, wheel-throwing, surface decoration and glazing, with each week focusing on a different technique alongside time for practice and experimentation. Joiners enter in the sixth week of a 12-week course and receive a condensed studio introduction, so the class is recommended only for those with some basic wheel-throwing and hand-building skills. All materials are provided, including buff stoneware clay, tools, slips and in-house glazes, with clay charged at £5 per kg for firing. The course is taught by Swedish ceramic artist Linda Barck, an RCA Ceramics and Glass MA graduate.
