About
A bookseller-led monthly book club discussing Chris Kohler's Phantom Limb, with a complimentary drink for attendees.
The Portobello Bookshop's monthly Fiction Book Club, led by a bookseller, meets to discuss a chosen title from its general fiction shelves, with a complimentary beverage included. This session takes on Chris Kohler's Phantom Limb, in which a young Scottish minister discovers an ancient disembodied hand that begins to draw anarchic visions, and sees in it an opportunity to reinvent himself as a prophet. The club usually meets on the first Tuesday of the month.
