Weave a Scarf for Wool Month
About
A beginner-friendly weaving workshop at Sunny Bank Mills where participants weave a wool scarf or snood on a table loom to celebrate Wool Month.
Agnis Smallwood has designed a bespoke one-day workshop for Sunny Bank Mills celebrating Wool Month. Participants weave a scarf or snood using the log cabin colour-and-weave technique with contrasting cream and dark brown 100% British-grown breed-specific wool on pre-threaded table looms. The session runs across four access levels, from complete beginners to those with prior weaving experience, combining group demonstrations with one-to-one support, and includes tea, coffee and cake. Attendees leave with their finished handwoven piece plus the weaving draft to continue at home.
