Lantern Making Workshops at Hub On The Hill

A family workshop making and decorating willow and tissue lanterns ahead of the Telford Celebration Lantern Parade.

Children aged 5 and upwards, accompanied by an adult, make a willow stick lantern with guidance from artists, then decorate it in their own style. The finished lanterns can be carried in the Telford Celebration Lantern Parade through Dale End Park, Ironbridge, on Sunday 29th November at 6pm. The workshop lasts two and a half hours, involves glue, and aprons are provided.
