A lacemaking workshop led by Living History enthusiast Heather, focusing on endangered crafts from the Northwest's Heritage.
Participants will learn basic lacemaking techniques using a rough thread to outline a basic autumnal design. Heather, drawing from historical research, will introduce beginners to the art of lacemaking. The session covers different types of lacemaking, such as reticella, Ruskin style, needle lace, and bobbin lace.
