Beginners Darkroom Print Session

A two-hour hands-on darkroom workshop where beginners learn silver gelatin printing and take home their own prints.

Blackpool Community Darkroom runs this two-hour session for adults and young people aged 16+, with just two participants per session for one-to-one guidance. Participants select a black and white negative, then work under red lights to operate an enlarger, make test strips and develop prints through chemical baths. No prior printing knowledge is needed, and everyone leaves with finished hand-exposed prints.
