Pinhole Photography Workshop
About
A hands-on workshop with artist Luca M where participants build pinhole cameras from recycled materials and create plant-based developed prints, suitable for ages 11+.
This three-hour workshop introduces analogue photography through pinhole cameras made from recycled materials. Participants photograph the body in motion, taking inspiration from the series Plates in the exhibition The Goal of Our Health, then head into the city centre to capture local architecture with their handmade cameras. Back in a temporary darkroom, photographs are processed using a plant-based developer made with plants collected from the city, producing unique prints that echo the processes used in the exhibition's 16mm film. No previous photography experience is needed and the session is suitable for ages 11+.
