Discover How To Move With Ease: An Introduction to the Feldenkrais Method
About
A one-day introductory workshop exploring the Feldenkrais Method through gentle guided movement lessons, a talk, Q&A and demonstration.
This one-day introductory workshop introduces the Feldenkrais Method, a practice of slow, comfortable movements and guided exploration aimed at improving ease, balance and co-ordination. Participants will be taken through several 'Awareness Through Movement' lessons, hear a talk and Q&A about how the Method works, watch a short demonstration of a one-to-one 'Functional Integration' lesson, and reflect on applying the Method to personal goals. No prior experience is needed; lessons are normally taught on the floor, with alternatives available on request. The day is led by qualified Feldenkrais teachers Mark Lacey and Emily Myers, with other qualified and trainee practitioners on hand.
