Free Intro to Self-Defence for Women & Girls – Cardiff, South Wales

A free 90-minute hands-on self-defence and personal safety workshop for women and girls aged 12+, funded by the National Lottery.

Ignite Your Power CIC runs this introductory workshop as part of its Welsh Warrior Project, a National Lottery-funded programme offering free sessions across South Wales. Over 90 minutes, participants learn confidence and awareness skills, assertive communication, defensive stances, escapes from common standing grabs and de-escalation strategies, with scenario discussions and an optional Q&A with a female instructor afterwards. The session is open to women and girls aged 12 and over in a supportive, judgement-free environment.
