Peace Pins Workshop: Dove Lapel Pin
About
A relaxed half-day Christmas jewellery workshop where participants saw, texture, solder and finish their own brass or copper dove lapel pin.
Central Scotland School of Jewellery hosts a three-hour festive workshop in which participants make a handmade dove lapel pin from brass or copper. Working from sheet metal, attendees learn sawing, patterning and texturing, soldering and polishing, with the option of adding a silver embellishment. The session is pitched at beginners with no experience needed, though more experienced makers can also take part, and everyone leaves with a finished pin to wear or give as a gift. Materials, tea, coffee and biscuits are provided.
