Brass Hair Pin Workshop

A one-day beginners workshop at Central Scotland School of Jewellery where participants shape, forge, texture and finish their own brass hair pins.

Central Scotland School of Jewellery hosts a relaxed one-day workshop for beginners on making brass hair pins, inspired by traditional hair sticks, French pins and contemporary metal hair accessories. Participants learn saw piercing, forming and forging, hammer texturing, filing and polishing, experimenting with shape and surface to create minimalist, organic, twisted or decorative designs. All tools and materials are provided, and everyone leaves with one or more finished pins to wear.
