Free Intro to Self-Defence for Women & Girls – Andover

A free 90-minute hands-on self-defence and personal safety workshop for women and girls aged 12+, funded by the National Lottery.

This is Workshop 1 of 2 in the Warrior Project, a National Lottery-funded initiative by Ignite Your Power CIC running 60 free workshops across Hampshire. The 90-minute session covers confidence, awareness and essential standing defence techniques, including escaping wrist holds, arm grabs, clothing grabs and grabs from behind, plus de-escalation strategies and real-life scenario discussions. It is open to ladies and girls aged 12+ only, with an optional Q&A afterwards for personalised advice from the female instructor.
