Academic Seminar – 30th October // Dr. Oliver Dürr // Returning to the Heart of the Matter. Reconceiving a Theological Anthropology of the Heart for the Digital Age
About
A free academic seminar in which theologian Dr Oliver Dürr explores a theological anthropology of the heart for the digital age.
Dr Oliver Dürr, Director of the Center for Faith & Society at Fribourg University, leads an academic seminar exploring the Biblical notion of the heart as a metaphor for human nature. The session considers how a more holistic theological anthropology might reshape the concept of Imago Dei in response to the challenges posed by AI and digital technology. Part of a series of exploratory seminars on Christian faith and scholarly enquiry, open to all disciplines; community worship at 12.30pm and a free lunch beforehand are offered.
