RLF Collected: Live – Kill Your Darlings
About
Three Royal Literary Fund writers discuss the craft of editing their own work, followed by an audience Q&A, at Nottingham Central Library.
Based on the Royal Literary Fund's podcast 'Collected', this event as part of The Crime Residency features award-winning writers Emma Pass, Alison Bruce and Nicola Monaghan. They will use scripts by other writers from the RLF's archive to open a conversation about 'killing their darlings' — the editorial process of cutting work they love — followed by an audience Q&A. The session offers insight into editorial skills, the RLF and the literary industry for writers and anyone interested in creativity. Doors open at 11.30am with the event running from 12pm to 1pm.
