An Autumn Gathering At Dr. Neil’s Garden Forest Bathing & Aromatherapy
About
A forest bathing session followed by an aromatherapy perfume-making workshop at Dr Neil's Garden in Duddingston, with lunch included.
Wild Rose Forest Therapy hosts a day combining forest bathing and aromatherapy at Dr Neil's Garden, created in 1963 by two local GPs. Led by Rosie, a forest bathing guide and psychotherapist, participants spend two hours moving gently through the autumn landscape before closing with an outdoor tea ceremony. Inside Thomson's Tower on the banks of Duddingston Loch, Gill then guides an aromatherapy workshop where each person creates their own 10ml therapeutic perfume from pure essential oils, drawing on grounding autumn notes and the new moon. A light lunch is provided between sessions, spaces are limited to 10, and the price includes a £5 donation to the garden's charity.
