Burr Island & Mynolia
About
A Celtic Connections gig pairing Nashville folk singer-songwriter Mynolia with the harmony-driven duo Burr Island at The Hug and Pint.
Mynolia, a Nashville-based folk singer-songwriter, performs her mystic folk sound, blending melancholy instrumentation, lyrical surrealism and influences from traditional folk choirs and eastern flute music, with material from her debut album All Things Heavy and new single 'Run Like Hell'. She is joined by Burr Island, the duo of Tom England and Śubhabhāsa, whose 'sibling-style' harmonies and cinematic melodies have earned support from BBC Radio 6Music and Radio 2. The show forms part of the Celtic Connections 2027 programme.
