Understanding Autism and Anxiety in the Early Years - Schools
About
A five-hour in-person training module for school staff on recognising and reducing anxiety in young autistic children.
This training module, run by Herefordshire Early Years as part of the NEN (AET) Collection, explores how anxiety affects young autistic children's daily lives. Developed with input from people with lived experience, it covers recognising the causes and expressions of anxiety, the Three Areas of Difference in autism, and the reasonable adjustments staff can make to reduce anxiety and create lasting change in Early Years settings. It is aimed at people working within schools and runs for five hours at Herefordshire Archive and Records Centre.
