Artist’s Film Picks: I Am Not Your Negro

A screening of the film I Am Not Your Negro, directed by Raoul Peck, is presented as part of Autumn Knight's exhibition I Can’t Complain.

The film explores the history of racism in the United States through James Baldwin’s unfinished manuscript, Remember this House. Narrated by Samuel L. Jackson, the film reflects on the lives and assassinations of civil rights leaders Medgar Evers, Malcolm X, and Martin Luther King, using Baldwin’s words and archival footage.
