Precious Metal Clay Jewellery
About
A beginner-friendly residential course with jeweller Jo Pudelko teaching how to model silver Precious Metal Clay into detailed jewellery pieces.
This four-day residential course introduces Precious Metal Clay (PMC), a malleable material of silver particles and organic binder that can be hand-modelled and pressed into moulds. Participants learn to make silicone moulds from found objects, create rolled textures and shaped elements, join pieces with PMC paste, and add silver wire and findings to finish pendants, earrings and charms, including setting gems. Tuition runs 10am to 4pm Monday to Thursday, within a five-night all-inclusive stay with full board, accommodation and complimentary station transfers. The course is aimed at beginners, including those with limited hand strength.
