Furniture Upcycling

Prepare and transform second-hand furniture with paint, colour and decorative techniques.

This four-day course guides participants through choosing and preparing a second-hand furniture piece, repairing it and planning a finish. Techniques include mixing chalk paint, brushwork, colour effects, distressing and decorative treatments such as stencilling and decoupage. Participants work toward a finished furniture piece and additional wall art. Optional sourcing is available by advance request for an additional £15 per furniture piece.
