Emma Dunbar: Colour and Joy
About
An exhibition of Emma Dunbar's vivid acrylic still-life and landscape paintings, shown alongside rugs by Jacqueline James and sculpture by Harry Chadwick.
Colour and Joy presents contemporary British painter Emma Dunbar's still-life and landscape works, built in acrylic on board through flat colour, scratched surfaces and touches of collage and gold or silver leaf. Her paintings of flowers, fruit, animals and harbour scenes are displayed with handwoven rugs by Jacqueline James and sculpture by Harry Chadwick. The three artists share an interest in colour, pattern and texture, creating a warm exhibition celebrating everyday objects. It runs from 23 January to 13 March 2027.
