Curiosity & Suspicion – Joe Bill: Workshop

Improviser Joe Bill leads a workshop on listening through curiosity and suspicion to build better improv scenes, open to all levels.

This improv workshop, taught by veteran American improviser Joe Bill, focuses on how a character listens to their scene partner through curiosity and suspicion, reading circumstances and interpersonal cues to move scenes forward. It forms part of his wider teaching philosophy, Comedy From Connection, and is pitched as suitable for all levels of improv experience. The session takes place during the Birmingham Improv Festival 2026 at mac Birmingham.
