Art Stomps
About
Free drop-in play sessions at the Scottish National Gallery of Modern Art where children under five and their carers explore sculpture through sensory, outdoor play.
Art Stomps are relaxed, hands-on workshops created for children under five and their parents or carers, held at the National Galleries of Scotland: Modern. Sessions take place outdoors as much as possible and focus on exploring sculpture through play, colour and texture. Families are encouraged to spend unhurried time in the gallery, noticing and chatting about art together, with simple creative ideas to try again at home. Sessions run from 10.30am to 12noon on 24 October and 21 November 2026.
