Winter Solstice: A day to honour the darkness

A solstice day of ecstatic dance, breathwork, drumming, ritual and immersive sound at Turner Contemporary.

This immersive day marks the Winter Solstice with a programme of movement, breath, rhythm, ritual and sound. The schedule runs from an opening circle at 11am through an ecstatic dance journey, a Celtic drum meditation, a sonic sound journey with gong and instruments, and a closing ritual at 5pm. Open to all levels of experience, with no prior experience of dance, meditation or ritual required.
