'Tree of Life' Clay Workshop Drop-in

A free family-friendly drop-in clay workshop with Itzatna Arts celebrating Mexico's Day of the Dead by creating charms for a communal Tree of Life at Redbridge Central Library.

Itzatna Arts leads a hands-on clay workshop exploring the Mexican árbol de vida, or Tree of Life, as part of a Day of the Dead celebration. Participants create charms honouring loved ones, which contribute to a communal Tree of Life displayed at the library, with some creations able to be taken home. The workshop was designed by Michelle Amezcua and is suitable for families; old clothes are recommended as it can get messy.
