Medicinal Mushrooms Workshop

A full-day workshop focused on learning how to safely identify, grow, harvest, and preserve medicinal mushrooms.

The workshop begins with a guided foraging walk to identify native and wild medicinal fungi in the local southwest area. In the afternoon, participants create their own wild mushroom 'medicine cabinet' and learn preservation and extraction techniques. The session also covers the ancient technique of mushroom inoculation, allowing attendees to take home an inoculated log to grow in their garden.
