Seasonal Cook and Feast

A hands-on workshop at Hockerton Housing Project preparing and sharing a three-course vegetarian feast from homegrown and preserved ingredients.

Participants harvest, prepare and cook a seasonal three-course meal from scratch using homegrown and home-preserved ingredients, featuring the 'Three Sisters' trio of maize, beans and winter squash alongside greens, fruits and seasonal drinks. The meal is vegetarian, with vegan and gluten-free options available, and is shared together at a feast table at the end. The workshop runs for four and a half hours, is open to adults aged 18 and over, and welcomes complete beginners as well as keen cooks.
