Eco Printing Workshop, Henfield

Make botanical prints on silk and cotton with locally grown dried flowers and leaves.

This workshop covers selecting and preparing fabric, arranging locally grown dried flowers and leaves, steaming a rolled bundle and using a dye blanket to create a coloured background. Participants can make a bandana and other samples to take home. No previous knowledge is needed. Fiona, a natural dyer, leads the session. Tea, coffee and biscuits are available; bring a packed lunch and drinks if you are staying for the day. The Classroom is at Woods Mill Nature Reserve, where free parking is available and bus 100 stops outside.
