Forest School Training Level 3: Woods Mill, Henfield

Forest School Level 3 leadership course: March Module 1 at Woods Mill.

This Level 3 Forest School Programme Leadership qualification includes a five-day March module and a later three-day module. The March module covers learning and development at Forest School, practical skills, and setting up, delivering and evaluating a programme. It runs outdoors at Woods Mill from 09:30 to 16:30 on 8–12 March 2027. A required Module 2 is scheduled for 15–17 June 2027. The qualification also requires a supportive observation at one of six Forest School sessions planned and delivered by the participant at their setting, and a portfolio completed within 12 months. The published entry criteria are applicants over 21 who hold a qualification at Level 2 or above in teaching, pre-school education or youth work, or have significant experience working with young people outdoors; first aid is required by the end. The Moodle introduction is online and is not a physical performance. Bring photo ID, gloves, lunch, water, notebook, pen, camera, warm waterproof clothing and sturdy closed-toe footwear.
