Bayeux Tapestry Creative Drop-in

Free half-term drop-in craft sessions inspired by the Bayeux Tapestry, with shield-making, coin design, collage and colouring.

Museum & Art Swindon hosts Bayeux Tapestry-inspired creative drop-ins over the October half-term. Visitors can make a Saxon or Norman shield to take home, design a Saxon coin or brooch, add designs to a giant collage version of the Tapestry, or try Battle of Hastings colouring. The activity is free, suitable for all ages, and runs between 10.45am and 4pm on each date; children under 18 must be supervised.
