Spirited Women – a historical cocktail tasting experience

Drinking history expert Simon Sharp hosts a cocktail tasting celebrating the women who shaped drinking history, with four themed cocktails.

This tasting session explores the hidden history of female pioneers in drinking culture, from the invention of the pub and modern beer to distillation and champagne. Guests sample four cocktails — The Mansplainer, The Poinsettia, Bees Knees and Hanky Panky — invented or inspired by trailblazing women and made with ingredients from female-founded businesses. The event is hosted by Simon Sharp, a drinks expert and spirits judge, and is suitable for ages 18 and over.
