Autumnal Linocut Printmaking

A five-hour beginner linocut printmaking workshop with an autumnal theme, covering carving, transferring and printing a one-colour block.

This five-hour workshop introduces participants to relief printmaking with an autumnal theme. After hands-on practice with the tools and a short tuition session, attendees design a carvable block, transfer the image to lino and carve a simple one-colour linocut, normally A5 or A6. Participants then print proofs of their block both by hand and on a table-top press, with all materials supplied. The class is for ages 14+ and spaces are limited.
