Introduction to Printmaking

A relaxed afternoon workshop at DCA's Print Studio introducing etching, relief printing, screen printing and photographic printmaking, with prints to take home.

This three-hour workshop offers an introduction to Dundee Contemporary Arts' Print Studio. Participants tour the studio's equipment and learn about the main types of etching, relief printing, screen printing and photography, then try some of the simpler stages of printmaking themselves and produce a few prints to take home. It is aimed at beginners in a fun, relaxed setting.
