Green Woodworking Induction: From Log to Spoon

A four-hour outdoor green woodworking workshop where participants learn to use axes and knives safely and carve their own spoon.

This induction introduces the traditional craft of green woodworking, led by greenwood worker and gardener Steve De St Croix. Participants are shown how to safely use greenwood tools including axes and knives, and carve their own spoon during the four-hour session. The workshop takes place outdoors, so attendees should dress for the weather and wear shoes or trainers; tea and coffee are provided. It is for ages 18+ and limited to six places per induction.
