Writing the Novel – GI 26 193

A one-day novel-writing course with tutor Stella Stocker covering planning, characters, dialogue and publication, open to beginners.

This day course at the Guildford Institute explores the craft of novel-writing, from choosing a starting point and deciding how much to plan, to creating characters, scenes, atmosphere and dialogue. Tutor Stella Stocker uses published examples and publication guidelines alongside in-class project work. Participants are invited to bring work in progress for discussion in a friendly, constructive setting, and beginners are welcome.
