Sam Bassett: Contemporary Cornish Art

An exhibition of contemporary Cornish art by Sam Bassett, shown alongside Cornish Art from the David Tovey Collection at The Sherborne.

St Ives-born artist Sam Bassett, who works from a former net loft at Porthmeor Studios, presents contemporary work exploring atmosphere, identity, humour and anxiety, alongside themes of housing, tourism and changing Cornish communities. His perspective is shown in connection with Cornish Art from the David Tovey Collection, opening at The Sherborne on the same date.
