Greater Govanhill presents MUMS - A Shared Story of Motherhood

A free community exhibition of work by new mums and mother-artists exploring motherhood, made in workshops with Marie-Claire Lacey and nine guest artists.

An exhibition of work created by a community of new mothers in workshops facilitated by Marie-Claire Lacey and nine guest artists across Glasgow, alongside two new pieces by Lacey as artist in residence. Themes include maternal time, overwhelm, mental load and the visceral experience of motherhood. It is presented as part of Greater Govanhill's Community Canvas space at Tramway and is free to drop in.
