About
Manchester Camerata performs Vaughan Williams' The Lark Ascending, Mozart's Prague Symphony and Beethoven's Pastoral Symphony at Stoller Hall.
Manchester Camerata, conducted by Music Director Gábor Takács-Nagy, presents a nature-themed programme with leader Caroline Pether as violin soloist. Vaughan Williams' The Lark Ascending, inspired by George Meredith's poem, is followed by Mozart's Symphony No. 38 'Prague' and Beethoven's Symphony No. 6 'Pastoral'. The concert is recommended by Classic FM, and free Friday night jazz runs in the atrium from 5–7pm before the show.
