Young Writers Group 2026

Termly Saturday writing workshops for ages 11-16 led by author Yarrow Townsend with ArtfulScribe.

Forest Arts Young Writers is a termly programme of Saturday morning workshops for ages 11-16, run with literature development organisation ArtfulScribe and facilitated by children's author Yarrow Townsend. Sessions offer a supportive space to develop writing skills, share work and give feedback, with chances to be published online or in print or perform before a live audience. The term runs 19 September to 5 December with no sessions on 24 and 31 October; booking is for the whole term, though mid-term joiners and trial sessions are possible.
