Free Motion Embroidery - Card Making - IPS

A half-day class at Franklins Ipswich teaching free motion embroidery techniques to make a decorated greeting card.

This two-hour workshop introduces free motion embroidery, teaching participants to 'draw' with a sewing machine to create an embroidered greeting card. Topics include setting up fabric, choosing the correct needle, free motion techniques, applique decoration and card assembly, with practice time before making the final card. All materials are provided and the finished card can be taken home; the class is aimed at intermediate sewers rather than complete beginners.
