Dressmaking 3 Day Course - IPS
About
A three-day dressmaking course at Franklins in Ipswich where participants work on their own garment projects under an experienced tutor's guidance.
This three-session course, held on consecutive Fridays, lets sewists bring their own dressmaking projects to complete under the guidance of an experienced tutor. Sessions cover measuring yourself correctly and choosing the right size, tracing and grading pattern pieces, and assembling garments including notches, zips or buttonholes and finishing seams. Sewing machines and overlockers are provided, but attendees must supply their own fabric, pattern and haberdashery. The class is suitable for anyone over 18, with simple patterns recommended for beginners.
