Relaxed Openings

Two free drop-in relaxed openings offer quieter visits to the Cooper Gallery, with interactive sounds and audio turned down or switched off.

On 27 October and 21 November, visitors can explore the Gallery at their own pace. A small number of motion-sensor interactives cannot be disabled, and the Gallery cannot guarantee the space will be completely quiet or uncrowded. No group or school visits are booked on these dates. Sensory backpacks and sunflower lanyards are available at the front desk, and seating is provided around the Gallery. The pages publish dates but no event-specific start or end clocks.
