About
A one-day leadership training programme for school leaders focusing on team development, motivation and prioritisation, led by Leonie Hurrell.
This one-day course from South West Institute for Teaching develops the soft skills of leadership, including emotional intelligence, empathy, communication and conflict navigation. Delegates will explore how communication shapes team culture, practise managing feedback and difficult conversations, and learn trust-building, motivation and prioritisation strategies. It is designed for school leaders such as deputy and assistant headteachers, heads of year, department heads, middle leaders, SENDCos and business managers. The programme is led by Leonie Hurrell, a former headteacher and ILM Certified Leadership Coach, and runs for eight hours with lunch included.
