Excel Improvers for Work

A free five-week Tuesday course at Mary Ward Centre Stratford helping adults build workplace Excel skills beyond beginner level.

This five-week course is for adults who have completed an Excel beginners course or have equivalent experience and want to work more confidently with everyday spreadsheets. Sessions cover practical workplace tools including relative and absolute cell references, functions such as AVERAGE, MIN, MAX, COUNT and IF, sorting and filtering, formatting data as tables, and creating charts, using realistic tasks like budgets, staff lists and timesheets. Teaching is hands-on, with smartboard demonstrations followed by practice on classroom PCs, individual feedback and guidance on further practice.
